Beyond the house

A walk, and a year.

From the lane you are in the fields. That walk is one page: the rice while it stands, the harvest, and the evening. The year is separate. If you're booking one of these weeks, tell us which.

January
Murung. A family celebration. The whole village comes.
March
Myoko. A festival of friendship. Our village's turn is not every year.
5 July
Dree. A prayer for the rice still standing in the fields.
September
The music festival. Bands in the valley for a few days. A visit, not a ritual.
